Mr. Herman HU Shao-ming, BBS, JP, Chairman of RDL Group, was appointed as Chairman of the Council of the City University of Hong Kong (City University) for a term of more than two years from 1 October 2012 to 31 December 2014. The Home Affairs Department continued to award a property management services contract for Kenney Town Community Complex to Parkland.
Kennedy Town Community Complex is a 16-storey building located near the Smithfield Complex and the Kennedy Town Swimming Pool. The complex is built with a functional purpose, comprising offices of government departments and public bodies, a digital cyber centre, a public carpark on 3rd to 9th Floor and a post office on the ground.

The Hong Kong Housing Authority awarded a security services contract for Block 1 and 2 of the Hong Kong Housing Authority Headquarters to Parkland.
Apart from awarded the agency management contract for Block 1 and 2 of the Hong Kong Housing Authority Headquarters, Parkland has also been awarded the security services contract for Block 3 and 4 since 2008. There are government department offices, information centre and exhibition centre inside the premises.
